STUDIO BRIEF 5 MEETING WITH GEORGE |
I asked for a 'business meeting' with George so we could discuss the next steps to be taken. After presenting him with the research I had collected, we talked about the different directions the packaging could go, as well as the specifications i needed to take into consideration.
- Dimensions of Product: 3.5 x 3 inch
- Cost: 5p each per package MAX (can maybe go higher if it is worth it)
- Grease proof or plastic lining needed - seeps through card
What needs to be on the packaging
- Brand logo
- Product name
- Flavours to focus on:
- Key Words:
Simple, Honest, Bespoke, Artisan, Homely, Rustic, Luxurious. Simple, Beautiful, Enticing, Engaging, Seductive
- Packaging Companies used before:
- Anything else?
Is there such thing as a harmony between rustic and luxurious?
A splash of colour - represent the flavour - bring it to life
Tell the brand story?
He doesn't want to be packaging these himself - easy and quick. machine?
I decided the next steps from here would be to explore more into the ways the product could be packaged, how best it could be packaged in terms of functionality and practicality, and then once decisions for this are made, begin thinking about the graphics. As George had mentioned the packaging companies he has used before, I feel it is only right to get in contact with these to help me make my decisions. As well as this, the fact that once I have come up with the design we need to make sure it can actually be produced on a mass scale.
